All of our carved wood signs are crafted from Real Western Red Cedar with beautiful, fine grained fiber and very tight knots - if at all. Signs 11" tall or less, are crafted from 3/4" Cedar and the signs taller than 11" are carved from 1-1/4" laminated (like a butcher block or a bowling alley lane) Cedar for additional strength and stability. The waving bear design on the welcome sign is just as much fun in person.  Perfect for our canoe paddle and life jacket storage at camp.  The wood slab is a little thinner than I expected, but beautifully done.  It will mark a gathering location for happy campers for years to come.
